Beautiful Wedding Photography at the intimate Cougane Barra, The Dunloe Hotel & Gardens

The wedding reception at Dunloe Hotel, one of the best venues in Kerry, was nothing else but perfect – couldn’t describe it otherwise. It was an honor to be doing wedding photography part of such a beautiful day.

It was the first wedding I have photographed at the Dunloe Hotel. Which is a luxury 5-Star event and wedding venue in Co Kerry. But I hope I am able to work there many more times in the future because it is an absolutely beautiful location to tie the knot. It is a relatively new venue, having only re-opened in July 2018 after renovation. It is located in acres of beautiful countryside, just by the side of the most beautiful places in Ireland

The parkland around Dunloe is absolute perfect for photography. I especially loved the trees and fields with horses, it is extremely photogenic.

All in all an absolutely incredible day. Here are just a few of my favourite photographs from my first wedding at The Dunloe Hotel and Beautiful Cougane Barra.

Also – I am very thankful to the bride and groom for letting me be part of their special day.

EMOTION PACKED WINTER WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY AT THE Lyrath Estate IN Kilkenny

If there was an award for the most emotion and love seen at a wedding, then Lorraine and Padraig’s winter wedding at the Lyrath Estate Spa in Kilkenny would definitely be on the shortlist to win the prize. This was such a beautiful day, so full of love, laughter and happy tears. For a documentary wedding photographer like myself, who lives for capturing genuine heartfelt moments. This wedding was an absolute pleasure to be a part of.

Lorraine and Padraig are such a brilliant couple and couldn’t have made me feel more welcome. Add to that the Lyrath Estate Spa, a really beautiful wedding venue in Kilkenny. Amazing winter weather (it was one of the those crisp winter days with blue skies and the sun shining). This was a wedding that really did have everything – including super cute flower girls!

Thank you so much to you both for asking me to be your wedding photographer. It has been so nice getting to know you both and I wish you both a very long and happy marriage together. Which I know it will be.

Here are just a few of my favourite shots from your amazing winter wedding day:

Tankardstown house wedding

Tankardstown House Wedding | K+N

Tankardstown House Wedding

I had the privilege to be the photographer for two loving people in Meath, at Tankardstown House Wedding . The getting ready at Boyne House in Slane, Co Meath.

All I can really say about this incredible wedding is WOW!!!!! Not only did I get the opportunity to photograph at Tankardstown House, but every single nook and cranny of this wedding was incredibly stunning. Seriously! From the invitations, the floral, the venue, the reception, the getting ready site etc…. As a wedding photographer this was a really beautiful day, so well organised!

The bride Khaiyisha and the groom Neill were getting ready in same location – at Boyne House in Slane, Co Meath. Wedding ceremony and reception different location – Tankardstown House, Co Meath. Both are only few minutes drive from one another. No worries traveling through Slane on a Saturday when it is Easter Weekend. Every wedding photographers dream! 🙂

As I started with photographing the details I got the sense that this wedding was out of this world! Catching candids of hair and makeup- super, lots of space to move around. Getting the dress on presumed the more beautiful candids I had seen all day so far.

Having never been to an outside ceremony at Tankardstown house- in fact as soon as I walked in- I immediately knew I wanted to use the grounds for bridal portraits. Absolutely loved working in this venue with the bride and groom. It was like their own special place to photograph in the wedding.

Instead of traditional cake-cutting the newlyweds wanted to lit up lanterns. OMG – this was sooo beautiful! The calm and loving atmosphere, the true emotions.

Tankardstown House is one of those super wedding venues (One of Favorites in Meath) that was transformed magnificently into total beauty. With their beautiful, light-filled Orangery – pictures don’t lie, total full spread magazine ready for sure. For winter weddings, the fireplaces in the rooms at the main house and the Orangery’s furnishings combine to fun, festive atmosphere. Opting also for Orangery is an amazing idea! Total blank canvas-style space that couples can make their own with flowers, foliage and favors!

Definitely the most memorable wedding I’ve ever captured, and so thankful to Khaiyisha & Neill for trusting me to do it. Massive big Thank You to all suppliers involved to make this day super beautiful for the newlyweds!

Enjoy the story!

Newpark Hotel Wedding Photography

Newpark Hotel Wedding- Kilkenny | L+N

I had the privilege to document love of two people at a beautiful wedding venue at Newpark Hotel Wedding, Kilkenny.

The bride and groom were a charming, loving couple, and it was such a delight to work with them. Kilkenny based wedding with a beautiful couple and lovely guests. Wedding prep and ceremony took place in a Roman Catholic Church, Tullaroan, Kilkenny. Followed by a beautiful location at Kilkenny Castle and wedding reception at Newpark Hotel,Castlecomer Rd, Newpark Lower, Kilkenny.

…the story began when the couple got engaged back December 2016. Christmas day proposal! This is cool 🙂 They decided to have their wedding 18 months later after engagement.

Morning preparations were in a Town of Tullaroan, Kilkenny where they also had a church ceremony at Tullaroan Church, Kilkenny.

After the ceremony we went for a bridal party and the couple photos to Kilkenny castle – the famous Castle 🙂

The venue has forty acres of parkland and with award-winning landscaped gardens, the Newpark Hotel in Kilkenny provides an opulent and perfect backdrop for a wedding day. A bit of a fact – the first ever wedding reception was held at the Newpark Hotel in 1966 and therefore the staff are very experienced in looking after and assisting newlyweds on their most important day.
